Blog Post Creation Example
By clicking on the long-form assistant you can decide whether to create an article from scratch (Start From Scratch) or whether to use the Workflow, I recommend the second option for simplicity.
Here you can select the language and then provide the AI with a description of the content that you want to write about in your blog article, the so-called Draft, something similar to the example below.
You can also define a maximum of 3 keywords around which the content will revolve, very useful from an SEO point of view.
Then click on Continue.
Now you can enter a title for the blog article, or have some generated by AI and choose the one you prefer.
Now it’s time for the introduction, even in this case you can write it yourself, or generate several with Jasper and choose the one you prefer, then click on Open Editor.
Inside the Editor, on the left, you have a column where you can find the title, the Brief, the keywords and you can also define a specific tone of voice, while on the right you have the actual content.
As you can see, the introduction you have chosen previously is shown.
Once the introduction has been made and perhaps edited and improved, the drafting of the article usually proceeds by defining an Outline.
You can write it yourself if you already have one that also includes related keywords (it would be ideal for SEO), or you can let the AI generate one for you.
You can do it in two ways, by using the Power Mode, which opens all the available templates on the left, including Blog Outline.
Or, and it is even simpler, using the Boss Mode, using a simple command directly in the Editor.
In this case, you just need to write something like “write an outline” or “generate an outline“, if you want to be more specific and effective you can also write “generate a creative outline on evergreen garden plants, speaking to householders with green thumb“.
The more detailed the command, the better the output, considering that the command cannot be too long.
Now just click CTRL + Enter key combination (or Command + Enter on the Mac) and Jasper will execute the command, generating an Outline.
What you can do with Boss Mode commands is truly amazing and endless. Now let’s try to generate a paragraph related to an H2 of the article.
You can do it in different ways, again using a template in Power Mode, or simply by placing the cursor under the H2 and clicking on Compose (or CTRL + J), or even with Boss Mode.
If you want to use a command, in this case, you can use “write a short introduction paragraph about XXX” and you will get a single sentence paragraph because you have specified that you want it short.
Or, you can ask AI to write a long paragraph, or a list of bullet points, questions, or whatever.
You will have to repeat the same process for all the H2s and H3s you want in the article and for the final conclusion, so you will get a complete article in a matter of minutes.
Editing and Fact-Checking
As I said before I do not want to deceive you, the article obtained will hardly be perfect, both in terms of grammar and in terms of facts and truthfulness.
Remember, it is still an Artificial Intelligence that uses a linguistic model, it’s not a database that knows everything and above all, it is trained in English, so using it in other languages there will be some things to correct, so you will have to proceed in two phases:
- Editing: you will surely have to fix some errors, perhaps verbs, use synonyms, make some sentences more fluent, or use the writing in the singular instead of the plural, enrich the content and give your tone of voice to the content.
- Fact-Checking: this is a very important step because AI is not a research database, often the information it will write will be inaccurate or sometimes even incorrect, especially on strictly factual or technical topics. You will then have to fact-check with online research or, even better, you need to be really an expert on the topic you are writing about.

Recipes within Jasper AI are used to generate content even faster.
Recipes are ready-made content schemes, which already include all the Boss Mode commands that you should use in the content itself.

Of course, the Recipes you find in the software and in the community are all in English, but this doesn’t stop you from creating your own in non-English languages.

This plan has several limits, you can generate a maximum of 20,000 words per month and you do not have access to the long-form assistant and Recipes.

This is the plan that I personally recommend because you will be able to use commands and generate up to 50,000 words per month with AI.
Of course, in this case, you can use the long-form editor with all its advantages, Recipes, the basic grammar check.
You also have the option of integrating the famous Copyscape anti-plagiarism software, and SurferSEO for SEO content optimization.
Again, if you pay annually the price is reduced to 49$/month, while if you need to generate more words, just select the appropriate option and, for example, with 99$/month you can reach 100,000 words.
Credits Refund Up to 20%
Working with AI you will find that sometimes the output is not what you want, so you will have to regenerate it by throwing away some of the monthly credits.
